We are a growing family owned and established concrete company seeking a CLASS 1 or 3 DRIVER / LABOURER. This role is on our concrete prep crew and includes installing weeping tile, spreading gravel, installing rebar, etc. This position includes both driving and physical labour requirements.

40 percent of your daily work hours will be driving; 60 percent of your daily work hours will be physical labour

Job Requirements:

- Valid class 3 Driver’s License
- Air brake certificate
- Ability to operate MANUAL TRANSMISSION trucks
- Relatively clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to perform manual labour
- Some truck & automotive repair knowledge

Duties:

- Complete pre-trip inspections
- Prepare truck for daily travel & positioning




- Loading at various gravel pits and transferring gravel to job sites
- Positioning and operating the gravel slinger
- Raking and shoveling gravel
- Using a wheelbarrow to move gravel

Compensation:

- $28-$32 / hour depending on experience
- Overtime (4-8 hours per week)
- Vacation pay
