Responsibilities

- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet’s specific needs and breed standards
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by handling them gently and securely
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to uphold health standards
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving large or heavy pets or equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive experience




- Follow all safety protocols to prevent injuries to pets, staff, or yourself during grooming procedures

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, qualified attitude that puts clients at ease
- Ability to handle pets safely and compassionately while performing grooming tasks
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during busy shifts
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results that meet breed standards and client expectations
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with pet owners effectively
- Knowledge of grooming tools, techniques, and sanitation practices is preferred but not required; training will be provided if needed
