Role: Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Develope

Location: Markham, Ontario (Onsite 3 days a week)

Duration: 12 months + Possible extention

Scope:

As a Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of Integration solutions within our organization and with third party applications. You will play a pivotal role in driving our cloud transformation agenda, ensuring that we use Guidewire Cloud capabilities to improve our Claim’s workflows.

The role involves working with the Senior Manager - Software Engineering.

Responsibility:

· Build technical diagrams / design documents.

· Write programs, configure / package / deploy software.

· Perform peer code reviews.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

· Design and implement functional requirements and integrations with external systems.

· Ensure standard methodologies are followed in code development, testing, and deployment.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.





· Consult on technical aspects of Guidewire upgrades and patches.

· Resolve and address complex technical issues promptly.

· Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality.

Skill needed:

· 5+years proven experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Development

· Expertise in GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins.

· Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products.

· Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.

· Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance

· 5+ years of Guidewire development experience.

· 5+ years of experience with coding Gosu Language

· Expertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications.

· Experience building up-to-date web applications and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON.

· In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development.
