As a Guest Service Supervisor, you will support the daily operation of our Front Office while coaching and mentoring colleagues to deliver thoughtful, personalized, and memorable guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

Lead, Coach & Mentor

- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to Guest Service and Concierge colleagues
- Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to help the team develop
- Support the onboarding and training of new colleagues
- Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and strong service standards
- Recognize strong performance and identify opportunities for further development

Support the Guest Journey
- Assist with guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a warm and seamless experience
- Support Front Desk, Concierge, and Reservations operations as required
- Assist guests with dining, activities, transportation, and personalized Banff recommendations
- Coordinate special requests, celebrations, reservations, and guest arrangements
- Handle guest concerns and service recovery with empathy, professionalism, and ownership
- Support VIP arrivals and high-touch guest experiences

Oversee Daily Operations
- Support smooth daily operations including check-ins, check-outs, billing, room assignments, and guest requests
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Reservations, and Food & Beverage
- Review guest preferences, special requests, VIPs, and outstanding follow-up items




- Make sound decisions when operational challenges arise
- Ensure effective shift handovers and clear communication between teams

Maintain Accuracy & Standards
- Support daily billing, payment processing, cash handling, and reporting
- Maintain accurate guest profiles, notes, preferences, and operational records
- Ensure hotel procedures, service standards, and policies are followed consistently
- Remain organized and adaptable in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

What You Bring
- 1+ year of experience in Front Desk, Guest Services, Concierge, or a similar hospitality role
- Supervisory or leadership experience is an asset
- Luxury, upscale, or boutique hotel experience is preferred
- Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Calm and confident leadership style
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to personalized service
- Familiarity with MEWS, Extranet, Canary, and Triple Seat, or similar platforms, is an asset
- Comfortable learning and working with multiple technology systems
- Versatile availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legal authorization to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not available for this position

- Approximately 30–40 hours per week
- Schedule may include day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
