Provide technical leadership for the Guidewire platform and act as a reference for development teams; Translate business needs, functional requirements and architecture orientations into robust, scalable, secure and easy-to-maintain solutions; Design implementation strategies, guide application architecture decisions and guide the implementation of solutions; Mentor and support developers to promote their progress, autonomy and adoption of best practices; Participate in detailed design, development, integration, testing, deployment and application support activities; Carry out design, configuration and code reviews to ensure compliance with quality, security,



performance and maintainability standards; Collaborate with architecture consultants, business analysts, quality specialists, operations teams and technology partners to ensure consistency of solutions; Analyze complex technical issues, coordinate the resolution of major incidents and perform root cause analyses; Plan delivery activities, estimate efforts and assess risks, dependencies and technical impacts; Optimize the performance, stability, automation, and observability of the platform; Promote DevSecOps practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of development methods.The profile sought is as follows:

Hold a university certificate in computer science, software engineering or an appropriate discipline; Have a minimum of eight (8) years of software development experience, including six (6) years with the Guidewire platform and three (3) years in a technical leadership role; Possess an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that may be considered; Must be Guidewire ACE certified; Proficiency in Guidewire, Gosu, and Java; Design and integrate REST and SOAP services as well as data exchanges in XML and JSON; Deliver complex Guidewire solutions in large organizational environments; Understand application architectures, integration mechanisms and cloud environments; Apply agile and DevOps practices as well as continuous integration and deployment mechanisms; Use source code management tools effectively; Knowledge of the field of damage insurance.
