Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with concrete pump trucks, and will have a strong background in automotive repair and experience with industrial equipment, farm machinery, and electrical systems. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and the ability to interpret schematics.

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components in automotive systems, industrial equipment, and farm machinery.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
- Interpret schematics to understand electrical systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed during repairs or maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in automotive repair, with a focus on heavy equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and farm machinery is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
- Previous experience working in a dealership setting is a plus.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
