Harschall Construction Ltd. is a locally owned and operated business out of Dauphin Mb. that has been providing quality excavation and earthmoving services for 25 years. We are looking for dependable and responsible Heavy Equipment Operators. The heavy equipment operator will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment which may include; track excavators from 5 to 20 ton, rubber tired backhoe, grader, skid loader and dump truck.

Operator will use heavy equipment to perform a variety of tasks which may include ; trenching, excavating, ditching, backfilling, rough and finish grading. Steel toe boots are required. Wage dependant on verifiable experience.

This is a full time seasonal which may lead into a year round position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

-Operate heavy equipment to complete variety of job tasks to assist with excavation/earthmoving projects

-Clean, lubricate & maintain equipment

-Conduct daily equipment/vehicle inspections and JHA

-Report any repair or equipment hazards





-Select and secure proper attachments for the task

-Assist with general labor duties when needed

Transport materials to and from jobsite including loading & unloading

-Ensure all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in compliance with government and company standards

-Must be willing to do security background check as a pre-requisite for certain jobs

-Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a group.

-Must have a reliable mode of transportation to get to the office/yard. A work vehicle will be provided to get to and from jobsite.

Preference will be given to applicants with at least a Class 3A drivers license.
