Location The chosen candidate will provide tutoring services at the Scholars Capitol Hill location, 1442 20 Ave NW, Calgary AB T2M 1G5.

Qualified candidates must possess:

- Alberta Certified Teacher​ is preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a tutoring environment is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
- Have a passion to help students reach their potential.
- Exceptionally organized and meticulous for attention to detail.




- Ability to teach groups of up to 2 students
- Must be able to teach math or science up to grade 12. Ability to teach one or more of the following subjects is an asset: Math 30-1, Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, Data Management, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and ELA.
- Teachers who are qualified and competent to teach additional subjects are preferred.

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week during the following times.
- Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm
- Friday, 2:00 - 6:00 pm
- Saturday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Availability on Mondays and Saturdays will be prioritized.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 18.0 per week

Education

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:
- teaching / tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
