We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals for holiday light installation on residential and commercial properties. This is hands-on outdoor work that involves ladders, roof access, and working at heights on every job — so this role is best suited to people who are genuinely comfortable up high, not just willing to try it.

Strong performers get first pick of hours as we move into our permanent lighting installation season, with further seasonal opportunities available for interested team members.

Responsibilities:

- Safely install, hang, and secure holiday lighting and decorations on rooflines, gutters, eaves, trees, and landscaping for residential and commercial properties.
- Work confidently from ladders and, when required, directly on roofs and steep rooflines.
- Measure and plan light layouts, run and connect wiring/extension cords, and test all lights for proper function before leaving the job site.
- Inspect rooflines and mounting points for safety and condition, and report any issues to the customer.
- Communicate professionally with customers to explain the installation and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and transport equipment safely between job sites.
- Manage time efficiently to complete daily assigned jobs.
- Represent Busy Bee Home Service with professionalism, positivity, and pride.
- Return in January to safely take down and store lights and decorations (removal jobs to be scheduled separately).

Experience:

- Prior experience in holiday light installation, gutter cleaning, roofing, window cleaning,



or exterior construction is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Must be genuinely comfortable working at heights — on ladders above the second story and on angled or pitched roofs, in all weather conditions common to the season.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift equipment and perform physical tasks safely for a full shift.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Compensation:

- Starting pay: $18/hour during training period.
- Post-training: Estimated earnings $25–$35+/hour based on performance.
- Commission and bonus opportunities available.
- Additional pay opportunities: Tips + Bonuses.
- Top performers can earn $1,100–$1,300+/week, with room to grow.
- Leadership/Lead Technician roles available for high performers (higher commission rates).

Job Type:

- Part time and full-time opportunities.
- Expected hours: 20–40 per week depending on season and performance.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts (occasional Saturdays during peak season)
