Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
- Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and efficiently after guests leave.
- Ensure that dining areas are clean, well-stocked, and presentable at all times.
- Provide support to the kitchen staff as needed, including refilling supplies and assisting with food service.
- Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations or answering guest inquiries as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Uphold high standards of customer service to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset but not required.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
