The Opportunity

We are looking for a gracious, organized Hostess to create the first impression at House of McGrath. You will welcome every guest, manage reservations and seating, and set the tone for an exceptional experience from the moment people walk in. This is a great prospect for someone who loves looking after guests and wants to grow in hospitality.

What You'll Do

- Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations, wait times and seating to keep the dining room flowing
- Answer phone and online inquiries, and coordinate takeout orders, with poise
- Recognize regulars, VIPs and special occasions, and share guest notes with the service team
- Keep the entrance and host area immaculate, and assist servers at peak times
- Respond to guest concerns promptly and involve management when needed
- Follow health and safety standards and assist with opening and closing duties

What You Bring

- Experience in a host, reception or guest-facing role; restaurant experience is an asset
- A warm,



professional manner and strong organizational skills
- Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure
- Comfort with reservation systems such as OpenTable is an asset
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
