Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace for our patients, customers, and pharmacy team. The successful candidate will follow established cleaning procedures while respecting patient privacy and pharmacy safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and disinfect floors, counters, shelves, doors, and other frequently touched surfaces.

- Clean waiting areas, staff rooms, washrooms, offices, and common areas.

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove garbage and recycling.

- Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other cleaning supplies.

- Keep entrances, windows, and customer-facing areas tidy and presentable.

- Clean designated pharmacy areas according to staff instructions.

- Follow infection-prevention, workplace safety, and chemical-handling procedures.

- Report spills, damage, safety concerns, or supply shortages to management.





- Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality.

- Avoid handling medications, prescriptions, patient records, or pharmaceutical waste unless specifically trained and authorized.

- Complete other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.

- Experience in a pharmacy, clinic, or healthcare environment is an asset.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Reliable, punctual, organized, and respectful.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment.

- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning duties.

- Willingness to complete a criminal record check, if required.

Pay: $18.25-$27.63 per hour
