Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for overseeing all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

The Human Resources

Manager will develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, and support leadership with workforce planning and organizational development. Day-to-day tasks include advising managers on HR best practices, managing benefits and compensation administration,



coordinating training and development initiatives, and maintaining accurate HR records and HRIS data. The role also involves promoting a secure, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture that supports Mariani Metal Group’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in talent acquisition, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR policy development, compliance with employment laws, and health and safety practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in HRIS management, data reporting, and documentation accuracy.
- Candidates should possess skills in training coordination, change management, and organizational development.
- Relevant skills include excellent written and verbal communication, discretion in handling confidential information, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP/CPHR or equivalent) is an asset.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, architectural fabrication, or a similar environment, along with familiarity with Canadian employment standards and Ontario-specific regulations, is beneficial.
