Busy HVAC company located in Carleton Place and serving the Ottawa Valley is looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join our team.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers and coworkers, and is comfortable taking the lead on residential HVAC installations. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, organized, and able to oversee an installation from start to finish while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Experience with residential new construction and retrofit installations of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment is preferred. Previous leadership or lead installer experience is considered an asset.

Qualifications

- Valid G2 Gas Technician License
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC installation experience
- Valid ODP Card
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Must be insurable under company vehicle insurance
- Ability to provide a clean criminal record check
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Skilled appearance and attitude
- Ability to lead, organize, and oversee installation projects

Responsibilities The Lead Installer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and oversee residential HVAC installations
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, hot water tanks, and related equipment




- Complete residential retrofit and new construction installations
- Troubleshoot equipment and installation-related issues
- Ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Coordinate with helpers, apprentices, and other team members on job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and coworkers
- Complete work orders and all required job-related paperwork accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, company vehicle, and equipment
- Follow applicable codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer specifications
- Identify installation concerns and communicate them to management when required
- Help train and mentor less-experienced installers when needed
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a strong team environment
- Continue learning new equipment, technologies, and installation practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
