Pay: $36–$45 per hour, based on experience

Location: Surrey, BC - work throughout the Lower Mainland

You may be a great fit if you have:

- A valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence with air brake endorsement
- A current clean driver’s abstract (you must be able to produce it)
- English Communication: Strong spoken and written English is required. You must be able to clearly understand safety instructions, communicate with dispatch by phone, speak professionally with clients and the public, and accurately complete job tickets and required documentation
- Regional Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Lower Mainland is required
- Comfortable with phone apps, e-logs, photos/videos and basic computer paperwork
- 2+ years of hydrovac/vac-truck operating experience
- Comfortable driving manual transmission
- Able to work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 50 lb and perform physical labour plus daily truck maintenance
- Available full-time for variable hours, including overtime and some weekends (typically 30–70 hours per week depending on season)
- Qualified, even-tempered and accountable





Safety Tickets & Certifications: The following are preferred, but we can help the right candidate obtain any that are missing:

First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance, Fall Protection, CSTS/CSO, Confined Space

What to Expect on the Job:

Hydro-excavation, daylight utilities, trench, clean up and haul as required. Complete daily truck inspections, maintain accurate logs and paperwork, handle minor equipment issues, and keep your unit clean and ready for work. Be reliable, professional and able to problem-solve under pressure.
