About the Opportunity

KD Pharma Canada is looking for a skilled Red Seal Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance team at our manufacturing facility in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia.

This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role for an electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, solving equipment issues, and working as part of a team to keep a complex manufacturing operation running safely and reliably.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and process equipment throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do

- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical process and production equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, transformers, generators, relays and industrial control systems.
- Work with PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), MCCs, switchgear and breakers.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation systems, including high-voltage equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and routine electrical diagnostic checks on machinery and controls.
- Install electrical cables, cable tray, panels, conduit and switch boxes.
- Support safe equipment isolation through Lockout/Tagout/Tryout (LOTOTO) procedures.
- Respond to electrical issues and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance and other departments to support safe and reliable plant operations.
- Maintain appropriate maintenance records and documentation.
- Maintain work areas to the standards required in a GMP manufacturing environment.

What We’re Looking For

- Red Seal Electrician certification – Industrial or Construction
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs and industrial electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and blueprints.




- Strong commitment to safe work practices and electrical safety.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently while working effectively as part of a maintenance team.
- Manufacturing, processing or other industrial maintenance experience would be considered an asset.

Work Schedule This position is primarily a 4 (10hr) weekday, dayshift position. Depending on operational requirements, occasional overtime, weekend or off-shift work may also be required.
