We are looking for an Industrial Spray Painter with a minimum of 5 years experience in applying automotive quality paints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired finish.
- Use and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, compressors, and other tools.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, properly disposing of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment and report any issues to management.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role preferred.
- Proficient in the use of painting tools and equipment, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
- Knowledge of different paint types, surface preparation techniques,



and application methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot painting issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to painting and hazardous materials.

HOURS:
- 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
- Overtime as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have good English language skills
- Experience with the use of both electrostatic and HVLP spray guns
- Experience in the sign industry is an asset.
- Some overtime will be required as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valuable hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
