Role Description The Intern role at JHL Consulting Group Inc. is a full-time remote position that supports finance-focused consulting and mentorship activities. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist with financial research and analysis, prepare presentations, reports, and spreadsheets, and help organize mentorship sessions and workshops. The intern may contribute to case studies, deal summaries, and market overviews, and support coordination with partner organizations and mentors.

Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate documentation, tracking project timelines,



and communicating effectively with team members in a virtual workplace. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to finance-related work while building professional skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, including comfort with financial data, spreadsheets, and basic financial modeling concepts.
- Candidates should possess solid research and writing skills, with the ability to summarize complex information clearly and prepare professional reports or presentations.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with mentors, team members, and external partners in a remote setting.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Familiarity with finance, accounting, economics, or related fields through coursework or prior experience is beneficial.
- Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or similar) and comfort working in a digital, remote environment is beneficial.
- Enrollment in or completion of a post-secondary program in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline is an asset but not strictly required.
