Job Overview The Inventory and Logistics Assistant is responsible for inventory control, cycle counts, and ordering. The goal of this position is to manage the order cycle efficiently, support business development, and maintain inventory accuracy and customer satisfaction. The position is also responsible for coordinating logistics and ensuring quality service at competitive pricing.

Responsibilities

- Conduct monthly inventory meetings with branches.
- Oversee cycle counts and resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Analyze stock levels and freight costs to improve efficiency.
- Manage inventory planning through Stock IQ and optimize stock distribution.
- Implement inventory control policies and adjust stock levels based on inventory trends.
- Work with other departments to resolve inventory issues.
- Monitor and forecast demand to help prevent overstocking.
- Handle inter-branch transfers, slow-moving stock, and product returns.
- Oversee outbound shipments, customs clearance, and transportation rates.
- Train employees on shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures.
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications

- Experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management.
- BS/BA in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
- Solid vendor management,



negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of the mining or construction industry is an asset.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
