This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a InvestorLine Trade and Risk Analyst based in Canada. This role supports a remote investment and wealth-management workplace, combining client service, trade execution, risk awareness, and regulatory discipline.
You’ll help clients navigate investment products and services while ensuring transactions and requests are handled accurately and efficiently. The position requires strong market knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to identify and resolve complex client situations. You’ll work independently while collaborating with internal teams and escalating issues when appropriate.

Accountabilities
- Provide professional, responsive service to current and prospective clients, building trusted relationships through knowledgeable and personalized support.
- Understand client needs through effective questioning and recommend relevant investment products, services, and strategies aligned with those needs.
- Execute required client transactions accurately or direct requests to the appropriate internal teams for completion.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the client experience, strengthen relationships, and support investment-related sales objectives.
- Maintain current knowledge of investment markets, products, industry trends, competitive offerings, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a subject-matter resource on investment products, processes, and operating systems, sharing expertise with colleagues and supporting performance improvement.
- Resolve client questions and concerns, escalating complex or unresolved matters to senior leadership when appropriate.
- Complete required documentation following client interactions to ensure requests and transactions are processed accurately.
- Protect the confidentiality of client and organizational information while maintaining high standards of privacy and information security.
- Identify and report potentially suspicious activity associated with money laundering or other financial crime risks.
- Follow applicable regulatory, compliance, consumer-protection, privacy, and anti-money-laundering requirements, including relevant reporting obligations.
- Apply sound risk judgment when making decisions, balancing client and business needs with established policies, controls, risk appetite, and regulatory expectations.
- Contribute to short-term strategies and initiatives designed to improve service quality, client outcomes, sales performance, and team effectiveness.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience and/or a related certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid knowledge of investment products, financial services, market trends, and competitive offerings.
- Familiarity with online investing, brokerage, and wealth-management products and services.
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) course, or equivalent authorization to trade options where applicable.
- Functional understanding of risk-management principles, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices within financial services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain investment-related concepts clearly and professionally.
- Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to identify issues, determine root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Strong influencing and relationship-management skills, particularly when working with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities within established guidelines.
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of markets, investment practices, regulatory developments, and client needs.
- Experience with investment brokerage operations, trading,
or related financial-services environments is valuable.

- Salary range of $55,500–$120,000 CAD, with compensation varying based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
