Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist for potential upcoming consulting engagements. The successful candidate will provide senior technical expertise across enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, escalated troubleshooting, solution architecture, modernization, implementation and operational support.

Responsibilities

- Provide escalated technical support for complex infrastructure and systems issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and operational issues.
- Support outages, recovery activities, upgrades, migrations and system implementations.
- Design and assess hybrid infrastructure and cloud solutions.
- Provide architecture, implementation and modernization recommendations.
- Support Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Provide guidance related to backup, recovery, business continuity and high availability.
- Liaise with third-party technology vendors.
- Conduct technology research and assessments and provide vendor-neutral recommendations.




- Develop technical documentation and implementation plans.
- Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to internal IT teams.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional IT infrastructure, systems or cloud experience.
- Strong experience supporting complex enterprise IT environments.
- Demonstrated experience with hybrid infrastructure.
- Strong Microsoft Azure and/or AWS experience.
- Experience with virtualization, IaaS, backup/recovery and business continuity.
- Experience with Microsoft enterprise environments.
- Solid troubleshooting and technical advisory capabilities.
- Relevant Microsoft, AWS, infrastructure or architecture certifications are assets.
- Previous consulting experience is considered an asset.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Regina, SK
