Bee-Clean is currently looking for exceptional Janitorial Staff members for our Victoria BC Team. Part Time / Full Time Light and Heavy duty Janitor required between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm. 4-8 approximately per shift. Overtime availability as needed.

Interior Porter
Monday - Wednesday : 8:00AM - 6:00PM
Thursday - Friday : 8:00AM - 9:00PM
Weekends : 8:00AM - 6:00PM
Exterior Porter
Monday - Wednesday : 7:00AM - 3:00PM
Thursday - Friday : 7:00AM - 3:00PM
Weekends : 7:00AM - 3:00PM
Tray Room
Monday - Wednesday : 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Thursday - Friday : 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Weekends : 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Responsibilities include:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedure
- Operate walk behind or ride on Autoscrubbers
- Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty and clean ash trays and cigarette urns; replace light bulbs; refill restroom dispensers.
- Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
- Wash walls and equipment; use ladders when required in work assignments.
- Lock and unlock assigned buildings:
secure building when facilities are not in use
Food Court Responsibilities include:
- Clean tables
- Collect food trays and take to tray room
- Keep food court vendors stocked with clean trays.
- Clean up any spills and utilize wet floor signage
- Ensure cleanliness of food court area including floors, tables, chairs, and other surfaces
- Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste
- Report any maintenance or cleaning needs to the supervisor
- Fulfill any other cleaning duties as assigned
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
- Cooperate with other team members and work collaboratively
- Provide excellent customer service to food court patrons
Working Conditions
- May be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including exposure to the AIDS and hepatitis B viruses.
- Interacts with clients, staff, visitors, government agencies/personnel under all circumstances, which may include traumatic situations.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Frequent repetitive hand movements.
- Overtime as required.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 pounds.
Requirements:
- Successful applicants will have to undergo the necessary background checks and security clearances, all of which the costs are covered by Bee Clean
- Able to work independently
- Attention to detail, efficient, positive attitude and ability to work around a busy environment
- Team environment, provide support and guidance to existing co workers
- A reliable vehicle and valid Drivers Licence
