The QUALITY INN WADDLING DOG is looking for a full-time Janitorial Attendant to join our team!

We are looking for someone dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented who takes pride in keeping our hotel and property clean, welcoming, and well maintained. Although we do our best to create a schedule that works for everyone, the successful applicant must have flexible availability, including weekends.

Qualifications and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- cleaning and maintaining hotel common areas, hallways, stairwells, entrances, and public spaces
- cleaning public washrooms and staff areas
- vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing as required
- cleaning windows, doors, walls, and other high-touch areas
- emptying garbage and recycling throughout the property
- assisting with exterior cleanliness and general upkeep around the hotel
- restocking janitorial and cleaning supplies as needed
- identifying and reporting maintenance concerns to management
- having a strong work ethic and professional attitude
- having excellent attention to detail
- being able to work independently and as part of a team
- being comfortable working unsupervised
- being reliable and available to work assigned shifts

- having reliable transportation to and from work

Although previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is an asset, it is not required. We are really looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little things, and can handle the physical demands of the position. Everything else is teachable!
