Journeyman Carpenter/Apprentice

Responsibilities

- Reading blueprints, drawings and sketches
- Completing tasks assigned by Site Supervisor
- Good Communication with co-workers and subcontractors

- Conducting work safely

Qualifications / Requirements

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Knowledge in Finishing, Framing & Concrete Formwork required

- Strong verbal communication skills
- Team work is important with all crew members including Site Supervisor

- Punctuality

Skills/Abilities/Attributes The ideal candidate will have:

- Journeyman Carpenter Red Seal Ticket




- Knowledge and experience in both civil construction and residential projects
- First Aid Level One, Fall Protection and WHMIS Certificates will be considered an asset.
- Ability to get government security clearances will be considered an asset
- Follows all company policies and standards, including health and safety policies and procedures.
- Must have a valid BC drivers’ license and a driver’s abstract will be requested if hired for the position
