Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex instrumentation systems across our production facilities. Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation equipment including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and actuators.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic components using schematics, technical manuals, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Install new instrumentation systems and upgrade existing equipment to enhance operational performance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to diagnose process issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control industrial processes efficiently.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation and repairs.




- Support safety protocols by adhering to low voltage electrical standards and ensuring all work complies with industry regulations.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Journeyman Instrumentation Technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role with a focus on instrumentation systems.
- Solid electrical experience with knowledge of low voltage systems used in manufacturing environments.
- Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and schematic diagrams.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for reading and creating technical drawings related to instrumentation layouts.
- Background in industrial electrician work or industrial maintenance within manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly across teams.
