Job Overview

We are seeking a certified, skilled, and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety standards, and technical skills to ensure efficient and reliable plumbing solutions.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and venting systems
- Install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and water heaters.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
- Cut, bend, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functionality
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
- Ensure all work complies with provincial plumbing codes and safety standards
- Provide cost estimates and communicate clearly with clients




- Supervise and mentor apprentices when required
- Maintain a clean work workplace and document work performed accurately

Employment Requirements

- Journeyman Plumber Certification (Red Seal preferred)
- Valid plumbing license (as required by province/territory)
- Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and safety procedures
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces
