The Position

We are hiring a Journeyman or experienced Fourth-Year Service Plumber based in Victoria, BC.

The ideal candidate has strong service-plumbing and troubleshooting experience, is confident installing hot water tanks, and can complete renovation plumbing to a high standard. You should be comfortable working independently, communicating directly with customers, and accurately documenting your work.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, replace, and service residential and commercial hot water tanks
- Diagnose plumbing problems and complete repairs during service calls
- Perform plumbing work for bathroom and kitchen renovations
- Explain recommended repairs, available options, timelines, and costs to customers
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing and gas codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer specifications
- Accurately document completed work, materials used, and relevant job details
- Keep work areas and the company vehicle clean, safe, and organized
- Coordinate effectively with customers, coworkers, contractors, and suppliers
- Work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment





Required Qualifications

- Red Seal Journeyman Plumber or registered Fourth-Year Plumbing Apprentice
- Valid plumbing and gas credentials applicable to the position
- Proven service-plumbing experience
- Hot water tank installation experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, troubleshooting, and applicable codes
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and handle plumbing tools, equipment, tanks, and materials
- Dependable, organized, and committed to quality workmanship

Additional Assets The following experience or certifications are considered valuable but are not required:
- Backflow certification
- Electrical certification or experience
- Refrigeration certification or experience
- Bathroom and kitchen renovation experience
- Commercial plumbing experience
- Additional gas-fitting experience or certifications
