Gary Moe Mazda Red Deer is looking for an experienced Journeyman / Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our growing team. What We’re Looking For The successful candidate will:

- Hold a valid Journeyman Automotive Service Technician / Red Seal certification
- Have strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Be experienced with electrical, drivability and mechanical diagnosis
- Be capable of maintaining strong productivity while producing quality work
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be dependable, organized and professional
- Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Hold a valid driver’s licence
- Experience working on all makes and models is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications: A Mazda Certified Technician designation would be a major asset. Previous Mazda dealership experience is highly desirable, particularly for technicians familiar with:

- Mazda diagnostic systems
- Modern vehicle electronics
- ADAS and driver-assistance systems




- Advanced electrical diagnosis
- Manufacturer repair procedures and technical information

Responsibilities: As a Journeyman Technician, you will be responsible for:

- Diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Completing maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Performing electrical and drivability diagnosis
- Following manufacturer and dealership repair procedures
- Clearly documenting findings and recommended repairs
- Performing quality control on completed work
- Working closely with Service Advisors and the Parts Department
- Maintaining a clean and professional work environment
- Staying current with technical training and new vehicle technology
