About the Role

Our client is looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Junior Corporate Attorney to join their legal team in Kimberley . This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and commercial contracts. You will work closely with senior attorneys on a variety of matters, providing legal support and conducting research. Key Responsibilities

- Assist in drafting and reviewing corporate agreements, resolutions, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research on corporate law matters and prepare memorandums.
- Support senior attorneys in due diligence processes for corporate transactions.
- Maintain corporate records and assist with compliance filings.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and external counsel as directed.




- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal legal policies.

Requirements

- Admitted attorney with 1-4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in corporate or commercial law.
- Solid understanding of South African company law and corporate governance principles.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for a hybrid work setting.
- Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on recent challenges.
