Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients to support chefs and cooks
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Support cooking processes by preparing ingredients and assembling dishes under supervision
- Serve food efficiently to customers or dining staff while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils to ensure a safe and organized workplace
- Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to uphold health standards in the kitchen




- Assist with stock management by receiving deliveries, checking inventory levels, and organizing supplies

Skills

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols
- Ability to assist with meal preparation and basic cooking tasks confidently
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
