Duties

- Ensure all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, storage rooms, and food prep zones, are kept impeccably clean and organized.
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently to support daily restaurant operations.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, such as ingredient setup and portioning to facilitate smooth service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety standards and prevent contamination.
- Support the serving staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly during meal service.




- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations by regularly inspecting kitchen cleanliness and reporting any hazards or maintenance needs.
- Contribute positively to the team environment by demonstrating hospitality-focused behavior and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable, especially in food service or kitchen roles.
- Robust knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items safely, and bending or stooping as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of food preparation processes; experience with cooking or food service is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude with enthusiasm for hospitality and supporting culinary excellence.
