Comec is looking to add highly motivated, skilled laborers to our growing company. The Laborer duties include assisting personnel, general site duties, working with equipment and working on client sites. This is an entry level position with the prospect for growth and advancement. Competitive wages based on experience

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Maintain/clean equipment as required
- Handle, sort and move tools, pipe, and other materials
- Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting equipment
- May drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment.
- Assisting and taking direction from the personnel with their day-to-day activities.
- Fill out and complete the daily safety paper work prior to the commencement of the work.
- Participate in proactive reporting and participate in safety program as needed.
- Keep the job site clean and organized.
- General housekeeping duties
- Working with and spotting equipment and truck operators.
- Willing to work flexible hours.
- General labor duties as they arise.

Qualifications include:
- General oilfield experience is an asset.
- Must be willing to learn.
- Possess CSO, H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space 1 or 2, Fall arrest, TDG, all other tickets an asset
- Minimum Valid class 5 required Ability to participate and process daily safety paper work

- Safety Certification

- CSO, H2S Alive, 1st Aid, TDG, WHMIS mandatory

Working conditions

- Able and willing to work long hours.
- Able to work in variety of weather conditions. From inside heated buildings to outside in the sun or the cold.
- Working at heights may be needed.
- Working in confined spaces may be needed.

Physical requirements Laborers should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. This position

- Ability to regularly handle and lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to pass a medical fit for work exam
- Ability to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
