Fall Horticulture & Landscaping Helper – Seasonal

Little Schoolhouse Garden Design & Landscaping Inc. is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and positive individual to join our team for the fall 2026 season continuing to the 2027 season.

We are a small, design-focused garden design, landscaping, and garden maintenance company serving Kingston and the surrounding area. Our fall season is busy with garden cleanups, perennial cutbacks, pruning, planting, and preparing gardens for winter.

What You'll Be Doing

- Fall garden cleanups and perennial cutbacks
- Weeding and general garden maintenance
- Pruning shrubs and small trees
- Removing leaves and organic garden debris
- Planting and garden preparation
- Moving and spreading soil, mulch, and other materials
- Assisting with landscape installation projects
- General property cleanup and maintaining a tidy job site
- Working as part of a small, friendly team

What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is:
- Hardworking and dependable
- Positive, friendly, and personable
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of performing outdoor landscape work
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Takes pride in doing a job properly
- Able to work well as part of a team




- Previous horticulture or landscaping experience is an asset, but not required

Position Details

Position: Seasonal Fall Horticulture & Landscaping Helper

Location: Kingston, ON and surrounding area

Employment Type: Seasonal / Part time or Full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

End Date: Approximately late November, weather dependent

Schedule: Weekdays, with hours varying depending on workload and weather

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
