Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting equipment to produce precise metal and material components. Your expertise will ensure high-quality output, efficient production processes, and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

- Set up CNC laser cutting machines by ensuring correct sheet size and thickness is loaded onto cutting table
- Operate laser equipment safely and efficiently, adjusting parameters for optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser machinery to minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, measurement tools, and visual checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Individuals must be motivated and willing to keep the machine running,good time management and be able to continue with minimal supervision
- Forklift and crane use is required, training will be provided.
- Clear English reading, writing and communication skills required!




- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Experience

- Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to verify part counts against work orders to ensure proper order completion
- Familiarity with CNC machines preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Experience with quality inspection tools such as calipers and tape measures
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on precision fabrication preferred.

Pay: $19.00-$29.16 per hour
