Established in 1996, Vancouver Laser & Skin Care Centre is one of Canada’s most established medical aesthetic clinics. Together with the R·MEDY Group, our team provides a comprehensive approach to aesthetics, skin health, wellness, and longevity.

We are looking for an experienced, professional and patient-focused Laser Technician to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do

As a Laser Technician, you will provide a range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments while ensuring every patient receives knowledgeable, professional and personalized care.

Your responsibilities will include

- Performing laser, light-based, radiofrequency, ultrasound and other energy-based aesthetic treatments in accordance with clinic protocols
- Performing treatments for concerns including pigmentation, vascular conditions, unwanted hair, skin rejuvenation, acne, body contouring and skin tightening
- Conducting thorough patient consultations and recommending appropriate treatment options
- Reviewing medical history, contraindications, expectations, risks and pre/post-treatment care
- Creating individualized treatment plans based on patient concerns and goals
- Educating patients about treatments, skincare and appropriate maintenance programs
- Taking standardized clinical photographs and maintaining accurate treatment documentation
- Recording treatment parameters and completing detailed chart notes




- Monitoring patient response and escalating clinical concerns appropriately
- Maintaining treatment rooms, equipment and supplies according to clinical and infection-control standards
- Developing long-term relationships with patients through excellent service, follow-up and continuity of care
- Supporting the broader clinical and customer service teams as required

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident clinically but equally strong with people.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience performing laser or energy-based aesthetic treatments
- Formal education or certification in medical aesthetics, laser technology, aesthetics or a related field
- Strong understanding of skin types, treatment indications and contraindications
- Experience conducting aesthetic consultations and developing treatment plans
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate clinical documentation
- A professional, polished and compassionate approach to patient care
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume environment
- A genuine interest in medical aesthetics, skincare and emerging technologies
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to continue learning

Experience with multiple laser and energy-based platforms is an asset. Training on our specific technologies and treatment protocols will be provided.

Schedule

This is an in-person position at our Vancouver clinic or our Burnaby location

Candidates should have flexibility to work a combination of weekdays and Saturdays based on clinic scheduling requirements.

Compensation

Competitive hourly compensation based on education, experience and demonstrated clinical skills.
