Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Framer to join our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee framing operations on residential, commercial, or restoration projects, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency. As a Lead Framer, you will guide a team of skilled carpenters and laborers, coordinate with project managers, and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Your expertise in blueprint reading, concrete forming, drywall installation, siding, and heavy equipment operation will drive project success from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader passionate about construction and dedicated to delivering top-quality results.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise framing crews to execute projects according to detailed schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings with accuracy
- Prepare work sites by setting up formwork for concrete pouring and finishing
- Install drywall, siding, and other framing components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely to assist with material handling and site preparation
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and optimize workflow efficiency




- Perform concrete finishing tasks and assist with restoration projects as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure proper use of tools and equipment

Experience

- Proven experience in carpentry, framing, or related construction roles with a solid background in woodworking and concrete forming
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery
- Knowledge of drywall installation, siding techniques, concrete finishing, and restoration processes
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team of construction workers
- Construction experience across residential or commercial projects is highly desirable
