Job Posting – Lead HVAC Installer

About the Role

Working under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, the lead HVAC Installer is responsible for the complete installation of all residential HVAC equipment according to national and provincial regulations. Other responsibilities include the, maintenance and repairs of heating ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems of residential and small commercial customers. The lead HVAC Installer will ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems
- Diagnose system issues and perform troubleshooting using appropriate testing equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Inspect HVAC systems to identify hazards, defects, or necessary adjustments
- Ensure all work complies with local safety codes and regulations
- Handle refrigerants responsibly in accordance with provincial guidelines




- Respond to service calls and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and supervisors as needed
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Adhere strictly to Health Canada, and WorkSafe guidelines.

Requirements/Qualifications

- Must possess High School Diploma – Grade 12
- Must possess a Valid Class B Gas Fitter license
- Refrigeration license is an asset.
- Valid Class 5F Manitoba driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces, etc.)
- Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and at heights

Stand-by requirement: This position participates in a rotating after-hours stand-by schedule, approximately one week, every four to eight weeks. Employees must be reachable and able to respond within 30 minutes. Stand-by and call-out compensation are provided in accordance with company policy and applicable employment standards. Job Type: Full-time Permanent – 4-day workweek, 10-hour shift schedule, with every Friday off. Pay: Annual Salary of $105,000

Pay: $105,000.00 per year
