The Saumure Group of Companies is a Family Owned/ Operated Multi-Residential/ Commercial Developer, General Contractor, Property Management Company and includes various other businesses. The main focus is the purchase, development, planning, construction, leasing and management of new apartment buildings in Eastern Ontario.

Group of Companies employs and manages 80-100 employees throughout the various businesses. Operations are focused in Eastern Ontario with our office being located in Smiths Falls, Ontario.

With our continued development and growth, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven Leasing Agent who embraces the opportunity to grow with us, to help show and rent our available rental units and commercial spaces.

Tasks and responsibilities:

· Meet potential tenants and schedule apartment/commercial space visits and provide information on the building offerings availability

· Process rental applications including all required landlord and credit checks

· Draft leases, obtain signatures. Prepare lease transfers and renewals





· Respond to tenants’ emails and phone calls

· Coordinate with maintenance team regarding tenants moving in and out of building:

· Work in close collaboration with the Saumure Group of Companies team, including maintenance, accounting, and construction

· Other tasks as required

Requirements and qualifications

· Excellent customer service skills and strong people skills

· Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Great team member as well as excellent at working alone

· Organized and keen eye for detail

· Able to work under pressure during periods of increased work activity

· Previous sales experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
