About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Legal Officer to join their team in Kimberley , focusing on contract management and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

- Review, draft, and manage commercial contracts, ensuring legal soundness and alignment with company policies.
- Provide advice on contractual terms, risks, and obligations to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.




- Maintain legal records and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.
- Support senior legal staff on various legal projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

- Relevant legal qualification (e.g., LLB, Diploma in Law) with a minimum of 3 years of legal experience.
- Experience in contract drafting, review, and management.
- Knowledge of South African contract law and general compliance principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for an office-based role .
- Ability to work collaboratively within a legal department and across other business units.
