Duties

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles using schematics, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals to identify mechanical issues accurately
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Follow detailed repair procedures and schematics to ensure precise work and adherence to safety standards
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics, troubleshooting complex mechanical problems, and performing heavy lifting as needed for parts replacement or assembly
- Maintain detailed service records, update repair logs,



and communicate findings clearly to customers or team members
- Support ongoing maintenance tasks such as fluid changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and system calibrations

Experience

- Proven mechanic experience with a strong foundation in automotive repair and maintenance
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer standards and procedures
- Skilled in welding, schematics interpretation, and the use of various hand tools and power tools
- Demonstrated ability to lift heavy parts or equipment safely during repair or assembly tasks
- Knowledge of automotive systems including electrical diagnostics, engine mechanics, and suspension components
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Prior experience working with automotive schematics and performing vehicle diagnostics is advantageous
