Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook. Weekend Shift. 7am-330pm. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to restaurant standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen setting
- Assist with food plating and garnishing for service
- Maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and safety
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by performing various prep tasks as needed
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations




- Assist in cleaning and organizing workstations, equipment, and utensils

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with serving, food service operations, and kitchen equipment operation
- Attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
