Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and workspaces.




- Assist with meal preparation for special events or catering as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a kitchen setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills is essential.
