Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special event/banquet preparation as required
- Complete food preparation, including cutting, portioning, marinating, and organizing ingredients
- Ensure food is prepared consistently, safely, and presented properly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and workstation
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
- Monitor food quality, freshness, portion sizes, and presentation
- Assist with receiving and properly storing food deliveries
- Help monitor inventory and inform the Kitchen Manager when supplies are running low
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients responsibly




- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and Front of House team members
- Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, work areas, coolers, and storage areas
- Follow instructions from the Kitchen Manager and management team
- Support other kitchen duties as required

Experience

- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly processes
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Experience with serving customers or working in a quick-paced environment is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently under pressure
