We are looking for an experienced Livestock Representative to join our Lumsden team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to become part of an experienced and passionate team serving the wider Southland region.

Supporting sheep, beef, and dairy farming clients across Southland, you'll work closely with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow your client base. Backed by an experienced local team and a strong industry reputation, you'll have the autonomy to manage your territory while building trusted relationships within the farming community.

You'll bring a genuine passion for the agricultural sector, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to connect effectively with both clients and colleagues. As this is a highly autonomous role, you'll also have excellent time management, planning, organisational, and administration skills, along with the ability to work independently and proactively.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Marketing and sales of livestock services to existing and potential clients




- Maintain and grow the client base in your area through strong business relationships
- Planning and self-management of work
- Regular travel within the wider region

Skills and experience:

- Proven livestock industry knowledge and experience is essential, ideally 3-5 years
- Auctioneering ability and experience would be an advantage
- Ability to build lasting professional sales relationships
- Computer/tablet literacy and administration skills
- A full, current, clean New Zealand driver licence is essential
