About the Role

Our client requires a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the smooth operation of their supply chain and distribution activities in Kimberley . This role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods, managing relationships with carriers, and maintaining accurate logistical records. The successful candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will play a crucial role in coordinating daily logistics tasks, resolving issues promptly, and supporting the overall efficiency of the company's distribution network within the Northern Cape. This position offers a chance to contribute directly to operational success.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries according to schedule.
- Prepare and process all required shipping documentation, including waybills, delivery orders, and customs forms if applicable.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal departments to track shipments and resolve any logistical problems or delays.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all logistical transactions, inventory movements,



and delivery confirmations.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and ensuring proper storage and handling of goods within the warehouse.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to address logistical inquiries and provide timely updates on shipment statuses.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain support role.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with the Kimberley area and its logistical challenges is a plus.
