AgeCare James Bay is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to contribute to compassionate care in Victoria, BC. This position offers an engaging role focused on patient welfare in a casual setting. As an integral member of the team, you’ll report to the Director of Care, providing comprehensive, goal-directed nursing.

The Licensed Practical

Nurse will carry out resident assessments, implement care strategies, and manage medications in accordance with best practices. This role focuses on ensuring dignity and quality care for all residents in a supportive community setting. Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate assessments and care documentation
- Assist residents during transitions and scheduling
- Implement care plans effectively respecting best practices
- Oversee medication management and compliance
- Handle emergency situations and provide nursing direction Requirements:
- Current LPN registration in British Columbia
- Background in senior or long-term care preferred
- Excellent time management and clinical assessment skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
