Overview

Co-operative Régionale de Nipissing-Sudbury Ltd. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Lubricant Sales Representative / Driver to join our Energy Division in Sudbury. This unique position combines sales, customer relationship management, and product delivery responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing lubricant sales while ensuring safe, reliable, and professional service to our customers throughout the region.

This position requires travel throughout all four Co-op service areas. Occasional overnight stays may be required, with all approved travel, accommodation, and related business expenses covered by the Co-op.

As a trusted representative of our cooperative, you will build strong customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and deliver lubricant products to agricultural, commercial, industrial, and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing lubricant customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate lubricant products and solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities and achieve sales growth targets.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and follow-up activities.
- Prepare quotations and assist customers with product selection and technical information.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.

Delivery & Operations

- Safely transport and deliver lubricant products to customer locations.
- Load, unload, and handle products in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine vehicle inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation, environmental, and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse operations as required.

Customer Service

- Provide exceptional service before, during, and after delivery.




- Address customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Co-operative Régionale de Nipissing-Sudbury Ltd.

Qualifications

- Valid Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in petroleum, lubricants, agriculture, industrial, or related sectors.
- Experience in delivery, transportation, or customer-facing roles is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift and move lubricant pails, drums, and related products.
- Knowledge of lubricant products and applications is considered an asset; training will be provided to the right candidate.
