Role Description The Maintenance Assistant is a full time, on-site role based at Trailtech Inc. in Gravelbourg Saskatchewan. This position supports the upkeep of production equipment, tools, and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks, assisting with equipment inspections and minor repairs, and reporting issues that require escalation.

The Maintenance

Assistant may help with building and grounds maintenance such as cleaning, basic repairs, and organizing work areas and storage spaces. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and collaborating with supervisors, technicians, and other team members to prioritize and complete work orders.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance to support safe and reliable operation of tools and machinery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Building Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to help maintain facilities and reduce equipment downtime.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including safety guidelines and maintenance procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field is an asset.
