York Property Management is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team at Celine, one of our newest luxury rental communities in London.

Celine is designed to offer residents a high-quality living experience, with modern suites, thoughtfully designed common areas, wellness amenities, rooftop spaces, underground parking, and a range of resident-focused features.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role in keeping the property safe, functional, clean, and operating to the standard our residents expect.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys variety, can troubleshoot problems independently, and takes pride in the quality of their work.

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the property, including:

Building & Suite Maintenance

- Complete daily inspections of building systems, common areas, fire safety equipment, exterior grounds, and other property areas
- Respond to work orders and complete repairs involving plumbing, electrical, hardware, flooring, carpentry, appliances, and other building components
- Complete suite turnovers, including painting, repairs, and general maintenance
- Install, repair, and maintain appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves, and washing machines
- Inspect HVAC systems, heat coils, sprinkler systems, water pressure systems, and other building equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance according to the property's maintenance schedule

Amenities & Property Equipment

- Maintain and inspect resident amenities and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on fire alarms, dryer venting, in-suite air handlers, appliances, and other equipment
- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure they are operated safely




- Identify maintenance issues early and take appropriate action to prevent larger problems

Property Upkeep

- Assist with garbage and recycling collection and garbage chute maintenance
- Perform power washing of parking areas, sidewalks, terraces, and other areas as required
- Complete seasonal snow removal from sidewalks and driveways, including weekends when required
- Assist with maintaining exterior areas and the overall presentation of the property

Vendors & Contractors

- Coordinate access for vendors and contractors
- Provide access to contractors and supervise contracted work when required
- Communicate maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors and team members

Resident Service & Administration

- Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests
- Complete work orders accurately and within expected timelines
- Maintain daily records of completed work in Propertyware
- Follow established preventative maintenance schedules and work order instructions
- Order and maintain appropriate stock and supplies
- Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation and work weekends as required

You bring:

- Previous building maintenance experience is required
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and building systems
- The ability to diagnose problems and determine practical solutions
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- A high level of attention to detail




- A professional and courteous approach when interacting with residents, vendors, and contractors
- The ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery
- Comfort using technology and the ability to learn new systems for work orders and time tracking
