We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager, Billing and Accounts Receivable to oversee our billing, invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable operations.

The successful candidate will ensure invoices are issued accurately and on time, outstanding accounts are followed up promptly, payments are properly recorded, and billing discrepancies are resolved efficiently. This position requires strong leadership, organization, communication, and financial management skills.

This is a fully office-based position. The successful candidate must be available to work from our office during regular business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily billing and accounts receivable operations.
- Prepare, review, and issue accurate client invoices.
- Monitor outstanding balances and manage collection activities.
- Follow up with clients regarding overdue invoices and payment arrangements.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and aging reports.
- Reconcile client accounts, payments, credits, and billing adjustments.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
- Supervise and support billing and accounts receivable employees.
- Establish and maintain effective billing and collection procedures.
- Prepare weekly and monthly billing, collections, and accounts receivable reports.
- Monitor departmental performance and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with operations, payroll, accounting, and management teams.
- Maintain organized financial records for audits and internal reviews.
- Build professional relationships with clients and respond to account inquiries.




- Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, collection timelines, and internal controls.
- Protect confidential financial and client information.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or a similar accounting position.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of billing, collections, account reconciliation, and accounts receivable processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or invoicing software.
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients regarding sensitive payment matters.
- Must be available to work in person from the office.
